A few days ago, I had to call apple because my phone is messed up. What is wrong with my phone is that it is shutting down apps and it is restarting by its self and my phone is taking 4 days to restore my Icloud . When i called apple I was on the  phone with them for an hour, It was really tiring and I wanted food but I couldn't get any food because I was on the phone . The lady on the phone said that I had to plug in mY charger into the computer while i was on  Itunes so my Icloud could send date through my charger in to the computer, then my phone would back up on the computer. But we realized that since my charger wasn't a charger from apple that my phone wouldn't send the data through, so now I have to take my phone  to the sprint store and have them restore my Icloud and if the find any problems with my phone then i get another phone !

Yesterday I was outside on the trampoline and i was doing back flips, and I was practicing on getting better at my back tuck. Also me  and my friend were just messing around and seeing what we could do. Well I did multiple back flips and I landed the and then the next flip I did I did a tuck and i landed that one two. Well this is the bad part I was doing a back tuck and I flipped way to early and I fell on my face !! It hurt really bad but that wasn't stopping me from doing some more. So I did a few more but I was really scared because I thought I was gonna land on my face again but that didn't happen. I was doing another back tuck and It was really powerful because I flipped all the way around and landed on my head again which was really funny.

If Pangea suddenly formed together again we would have a major earthquake and thousands or even maybe millions of people would die. The reason we would have a major earthquakes is because when two tectonic plates crash together it causes an earthquake and since there crashing into each other really fast and hard it causes a real big earthquake. The reason people would die is because when you have an earthquake is causes a fault and when a fault happens it creates a big hole or crack in the earth and people could fall in and die. So this is what would happen if Pangea ever formed again.

The food that I would super size is a brownie . I would describe my super sized I would say that the brownie has a creamy topping and in the inside of the brownie there  are nut, and pecans. I would also say I baked it for 15-20 minutes and I used a 25 inch pan. Also I would say that the ingredients  that I needed to make this is oil, 2 eggs , water , and pecans and also you can add milk and vanilla if you want to make the brownies sweet. To make these brownies you start by pre - heating the oven at 350 degrees , and then you start putting the brownie mix into a bowl , and then you put the 2 eggs in and the water and you could put milk and vanilla if u want and the you put the brownies in the pan and then put them in the oven. When the brownies are done take them out of the oven and then let them cool before you cut them and the you can enjoy !
 

Memories of 9/11/2001

  

On 9/11/ 2001 , there were lots of people that were killed and I'm so thankful to the people that have risked there lives for me .  My personal thought about this day is i'm sad for the people that died because they were instant . Also I don't have a personal experience  with this because I was born on June 15, 2002 so I wasn't born/ around when this happened .

Pensacola Beach Florida

This summer I went ton Pensacola Beach in Florida  for my birthday . It was so much fun because I go to  para-sailing it was so cool because first you got on a boat and it took you far out in the lake and the the hook up up to the para-sail and then they lift you up into the air. When you are up in the sky it is so beautiful because you get to see everything from a high view and it so cool.  When they lifted us down you can either get dunked in the water or you  don't have to and I didn't want to but my aunt told the guys that were driving the boat to dunk us and we go all so-ken wet . Even though I didn't want to get wet it was probably the best birthday in my entire life . When we left to go to the hotel so we can get dressed and then we can go eat we got to see all these beautiful beach houses and it was so cool. The place we went to go eat have dollar bills all over the walls and the last time they counted it they had 1.8 million dollars on the walls.

The Magical House

Selling houses is really fun because you get to give people new homes. I sold a house that was magical and magical houses are the ones that are really fun. Magical houses are fun because almost everything  in the house is magical. Also magical houses are fun because say you like to play volleyball  in the house and you're scared your gonna  break something well in magical houses you can repair broken things by creating a spell.

My Favorite TV Show

My favorite TV show is Avatar The Last Air bender. The shows about people with special bending powers. there are four types of bending, there is water, earth, fire, and air. The main character is Aang, a goofy, funny, and clumsy air bender who soon figures out he the Avatar. An Avatar is someone who is able to bend all four elements while other benders only bend one element. Once an Avatar dies, another Avatar is born to take his/her place as spot as Avatar.

This Next Weekend is Going to be Amazing

This weekend will be a very special and epic. I will be going to Washington State Park with my friend. We are going there to go camping. Were also going to go swimming there. Since we will be swimming in a lake there is lots of cliffs and mud mountains there so I'm going to shown my friend how to jump off of them. Also, since we are camping we will be in tents which will also be fun. we need to make sure that we have lots of supplies like food and water when we go. I have to use a sleeping bag which doesn't bother me.

This Weekend Will Be Epic!!

This weekend will be epic like it says in the title. Well first of all I am going to Spinning Wheels Skate Center Friday to go skating with my friend. Then, I'm spending the night at my friend Jacob's house. Then Saturday im going with my friend to Swing Around Fun Town and we are going to have a blast. We are going to mostly ride the go-carts, but we will ride other fun rides too. then Sunday me and my friend Jacob are going to Spinning Wheels Skate Center again but this time it is for my friend Garrison's birthday party. This party will be fun because a lot of other friends of mine will be there as well and we will get our skate on!

Kid Nation 7

Today we watched another Kid Nation. In the episode one of the kids open a snack bar with apples, jerky, peaches, and other items. But the girl with the snack bar was taking the stuff from the kitchen. This is a negative deviance because she's technically stealing. Negative defiance is behavior that falls short of expectations and is most commonly  thought of as deviant like robbing people. Then Jared starting kicking stuff and everyone was becoming enraged. The council read the book and they found  a map to a mine. So the council went to check it out.

The council finally found the mine and went under. Later the kids find a bat and start freaking out. Then a girl put rotten stuff in a pot and told people that there was money in there to dig out. The council found a treasure chest with $18 in there and they are going to buy stuff for Bonanza. They bought footballs, baseball bats and balls and other cool stuff. This is social sanctions. Social sanctions are rewards or punishments to encourage conformity to norms.

One of the kids was home schooled and he was being picked on by Greg. Greg is a deviant. A deviant is a person that breaks society's norms in significant ways; also called a delinquent.
Later the kids are called to a showdown and they have to collect golden eggs by sling shotting eggs in a sling shot to a pillow to cushion the egg. Once they catch them another person has to bring it back to their district. They have a 15 minute timer. This challenge was difficult due to communication difficulties. They had to win 12 dozen eggs to win the reward. The blue district won first, yellow won second, green won third, and red won last. They either got a washer or free laundry. They chose the free laundry.

One of the kids wanted the gold star because his mom was struggling with bills and stressed out. Greg apologized to Nathan because he was making fun of him. David wants to win the gold star because she wants to be a doctor. Most of the gold star votes went to Pharaoh and David. They call everyone to a town hall meeting to give away a gold star. They asked the kids if they like the work of the council and most of them said yes. When they asked who wanted to leave no one did. Nathan won the gold star. Nathan was speechless and he was surprised. And Nathan said he would still work hard even though he won the star.

Kid Nation 6

Today we watched another episode of Kid Nation. The council woke up the groups and Taylor started complaining and was making fun of Zack. Taylor still acts like she has authority but she doesn't. Authority is a legitimate or socially approved use of power. The kids realize that Bonanza is disgusting and they have to clean it up. They are going to move the trash and then bury it. Taylor and her friend disagree to help with the trash so the council will decide a punishment for her later.

Since Bonanza is moving the trash they need cooperation too move it all together. Cooperation is the interaction in which individuals or groups combine efforts to achieve a common goal. The council then decides a punishment for Taylor. they make Taylor bring water back and forth so she could fill up the water tank. They keep Taylor inside one of the houses and she starts screaming and freaking out. Since the water tank was empty they called the town together to fill it back up. They finally have another showdown. they have to find cans of beans inside a giant pan of pigs within 15 minutes. They need 75 cans to win the award. Red won first, green won second, yellow won third and blue won last. The reward was fruit or dune buggies and they picked the fruit.

The next day Zack made Taylor and her friends do the dishes job. Taylor has a social exchange that she is not doing. A social exchange is a voluntary action you perform while expecting something in return. The council wants DK to win the gold star. The people want Taylor to leave Bonanza. DK raises his hand to leave and go home. Everyone was very sad when DK wanted to leave. Guylan later spoke to DK about it. DK decided to stay at Bonanza. DK won the gold star.

Kid Nation 5

Today we watched another Kid Nation. One of the kids tried to wake up yellow group but they wouldn't get up. A group is two or more people that are in regular contact, share some ways of thinking/feeling/behaving, consider each other's behavior, and have some common interests and goals. Later the council decides to have a re-election and some kids think Zack is a good leader and he does a good job. Gylan runs for council and he thinks he could do a good job. Zack votes against Taylor for council and he makes an excellent speech and he says he's tired of deal with it.

When Taylor was in council she acted like was in an in-group. An in-group is an exclusive group demanding extreme loyalty. Later they call everyone for a challenge and they have to bust open piñatas h contain pictures  of past presidents and they put the past presidents in order. Yellow wins upper class at the end. Green almost won upper class but had the presidents in wrong order. Green got second, red got third and blue won last at fourth. I think everyone was getting mad and yelling and I see conflict here. Conflict is interaction aimed at defeating an opponent and increase dysfunction and working against each other. They got to pick either a barbecue or dental health.

When it was election day the council was under pressure and stress. Markel ripped the posters and everyone was freaking out, and this is social network because when Markel ripped the poster the girl was crying. Social network is the web of social relationships connecting people and groups. They finally called everyone to a town meeting to choose the gold star winner and to re-elect the council. Greg won the gold star and he is using the money towards college. Laurel got to stay in the council because nobody voted against her. Anjay got to keep his spot on the council. Gylan won the council spot and Mike lost. Zack wins the yellow council spot. Everyone was glad Taylor lost her spot as council.

Kid Nation 4

Today we watched another episode of kid nation. One of the girls did not understand their role or their reason to be there. A role is an overall pattern of behavior and interactions; a way of identifying and placing an individual. Also the kids noticed that faith is important. After the meeting, the council wants to choose only one religion. Some of the kids didn't understand why other kids didn't want to stick to one religion because everyone believes in different religions.

Later they called everyone together and planned to pray. The kids get to choose who they pray to. This is achieved status. An achieved status is something a person chooses and works to become. Most of all kids did not show up due to their beliefs. At the end of the day more kids came to pray together. Even some of the kids who didn't believe in god still came and that shows respect to me.

One of the kids from the rest of the yellow group decided he should help with dishes instead of playing. Then they were called to a showdown on religion. They had to get puzzle pieces and make a church. All of the groups had social interaction because they were all screaming at each other. Social interaction is any relationship between two or more individuals. Red and blue were neck and neck but blue left with upper class. Blue finished first, red finished second, yellow won third  and green won last.

The winning  choices were either a holy library or mini golf course. They chose the bibles in the end. Later the next day Taylor decided to not cook and that is an obligation. An obligation is a duty of commitment someone needs to fulfill. Later the next day they were deciding who gets the gold star. Before that they ask who wants to go home and Cody wants to go home to see his family. They finally give out the gold star and Morgan received the gold star because she doesn't complain about work and she loves everyone.

The Poorest Man

I think this man is very kind mostly because he donates over 90% of his salary to charity. It is very difficult to live with only $1,250. That is very kind of him to do that and we need more people in the world like him. Even though they say he is the poorest president he still has the biggest heart of all and he has a lot of swag. I think they should call him the president with the biggest heart and who has the most swag.

My Easter weekend

Last weekend I had a blast. Saturday, both of my cousins spent the night and we played video games and went outside. Then we stayed up late and watched movies together. Then Easter morning we all went to my grandma's house to celebrate Easter. We had a picnic with our entire family and we barbecued and hunted Easter eggs in the yard. After we celebrated Easter I went with my friend to the movies and we saw Captain America The Winter Soldier. The movie was amazing compared to the first. Finally I spent the night at my friends house and then I went home.

Kid Nation

Today we watched another episode of kid nation. In the episode the kids are just arriving in Bonanza. They have a perspective of being worried and scared and they don't know what to think. Perspective is a particular individual's point of view which is effected by experiences. I think the kids will do good in Bonanza as long as they all put in effort.

The kids have a town council which consists of four other kids who have a lot of the power of the group of kids. Power is the ability to control others. The council is not permanent but they are in charge for now. The kids get forty days of supplies to survive and they have to haul it to Bonanza. The council also gets to choose who is the best kid in the town and give them a 20,000 dollar gold star.

One of the kids had a latent function and pulled a muscle in their leg. A latent function are things that happen unintentionally or they were not the intended goal. The other kids helped him up and pulled him in the wagon because he couldn't walk. The kids finally arrive at Bonanza.

Kid Nation

Today we watched another episode of kid nation today. In the episode the kids are acting in play stage because they are wearing cowboy hats and outfits. Play stage is when children play pretend and act the way they think others would act. The kids are wearing the different clothes because they are in the desert. Therefor, they wore more cooler clothes because it was hot.

The kids used socialization so they could get along together. Socialization is how to participate in group life(must be taught how to behave and interact with others). They have to get along or the village will fall apart. The kids do an okay job at socializing with each other. But they need to learn how to socialize a lot more nicely.

Greg was cussing at the other kids because he was mad at the other kids. Also the kids were going to go to sleep earlier so they can work better in the morning,and that is resocialization. Resocialization is the process of adopting new norms, values, attitudes, and behavior. They gave the kids a 9:00 curfew. Even though the village was upset, They feel it was a good decision.

The teams were later called together to play another game. They had to catch specific sheep in a group. The council is yelling to there team, so there team would find the right sheep. This is total institutions because the council was telling there team to do. Total institutions is Places in which people are separated from the rest of society and controlled by officials in charge. At the end yellow won first, blue won second, green won third, and red won last.

Kid Nation

Today we watched another episode of kid nation. The society of kids voted to kill a chicken. A society is a group of people living in the same area and sharing common culture, but there will be differences. They ended up killing a few chicken. The kids made a gigantic deal about the head getting chopped off. They had chicken soup that night.

They woke up to freezing cold weather and their clothes were frozen in a bucket. Also some of the cooks were not working and they were messing around. They needed water, but the pump was frozen, so they poured boiling water on it and it became unfrozen. Then, later that morning, there was a chance to get a gold star. They had to compete in a competition to win the star. They had to bring hoses to the water wheel to get the wheel working. The winners can either win a huge water slide or you could win a mysterious item under a barrel. I see an example of Informal sanctions because the winners receive what prize they want. Informal sanctions are rewards or punishments imposed by any or all members of a society like thank you.

 At he end blue team won first, red won second. yellow won third, and green won last. They got to choose between a water slide or a barrel with pumps to put around town. And the team that lost, they were being nice and not sore losers. I see this as norms because they will eventually have to get over it. norms are rules defining appropriate  behavior like standing ij line, applauding, following laws, etc.

My Weekend

This weekend I'm excited because me and my parents are looking for a new house to buy. We've found several houses, but none of them are what were looking for. Also this weekend I am going to my friends house. This weekend will be very fun.

           My favorite color is blue. It is my favorite color because it catches peoples attention, and I like the color. I like to play football in a league and with friends. I also like to play with my dog Sox.

 

         One time, I was swimming and I did a back flip off of the diving board. It was one of the biggest backflips I had ever done in my life. The edge of the board caught my back. I fell in the water and my back was bleeding badly.

 

 I've had a good experience with technology.  I'm not the greatest using technology but I'm not bad. I enjoy playing games on technology. I plan to learn how to type very fast in your class.

Kid Nation

the kids are trying to build a nation from the pioneers . they are in the middle of no where. Its all kids that are in the TV show. they are having problems with the wagons. they finally made it to the city. Th3e rooms look terrible. The kids aren't working as a team to do the job. the council members are having a hard time keeping the kids in control. One kid stepped up and made everyone get together. They made districts into 4 teams. They are going to have a showdown. the red team won the showdown. the yellow team is the youngest team. then they got a choice to choose a TV or a out house. they chose a out house. the yellow team made breakfast. They are still trying to find who gets the golden star. They met at the town hall. Jimmy left to go back home. Sophia got the star that's was 20 thousand dollars. Everyone is going to work harder to get the golden star. It was really cool to watch all kids come to town that has been deserted for a long time and come and run it shows that kids can be as smart as adults.

What Bugs Me

Something that bugs me is when someone buts into your conversation. it is really annoying because you might need to say something important to that person but they but into your conversation and start talking about stuff. Another thing that bothers me is that one person tells everyone what they think happened but they don't know what really happened in the situation. Then another one is when people just come and join your game without asking that bugs me because in like basketball you cant play with uneven amount of players cause then it might not be fair.

Motorcross

Motocross is my favorite thing to do in  the summer. I have a dirt bike and I go and ride with my dad on someday. I race motocross once every month in the summer but sometimes we race more than that. I have sponsors for when we ride. We made our own team and we are going to make it a clothing line. Its a family thing my mom, sister and me and my dad all ride dirt bikes. When we go to the track I have to put on gear so I don't get hurt. I wear goggles to protect my eyes, and I wear gloves to protect my hands from the rocks and dirt. I also wear a helmet, neck brace, chest protector and boots so I can be safe. I enjoy riding my dirt bike in the summer because it is exercise and it helps keep you in shape.

Special

I think that yeah everyone is special in there own little way but if everyone is special then that mneans no one is special. So if no one is special then they are ordinary people. If you are ordinary then itsd ok which that is what the Europeans think. I think yeah U.S is right, but so is Europe because if everyone is special then no one is really special. And if everyomne thinks they are special then they will all act special then it will be like everyone is acting the same way so they would be ordinary.  And the people that think they are ordinary then they will be cause they already know that everyone else is ordinary. That is what I think about if everyone is special then really no one is and if no one is then everybody is ordinary.

Favorite Classes

This school year has been really short it feels like. All my classes have been fun in the three quarters we have been in. In first quarter I had pe and facts which were probably my favorite classes of that quarter. In second quarter I had French and writing was ok but I realty liked French. And now I have pe and computers which are my favorite classes of third quarter. One of my favorite classes has been pe because we get to workout and have fun playing games. My second favorite class was social studies because Mrs. Uding is fun. My third favorite class is Mr. Zustiak's class because he is funny and he is fun. My fourth favorite class is probably computers because I get to find out new stuff about the computers.

Seven Doors

I would go to the Narnia door because it seems fun and I like it when they fight. I also like the mystical creatures there. I also like it cause it would be a cool trip to take through another dimension. I think I would have fun going to Narnia when ever I wan cause  its a mystical place that I wan to be at. I would also like to hang out with the characters and learn what they do and stuff like that. I would also like to visit there because I like the name Narnia. Narnia sounds like a fun place to be and a fun place to hang out. I would like to take my sister there if I could but I cant so she will never know what it is like. I think it would be fun to go to Narnia to show all my friends and family.

My Age

One thing that I would remember about my age is being in the middle school. Another reason I would remember about my age is select choir cause we are going to be going to six flags. And my birthday was fun cause I turned thirteen and I got a lot of gifts. One other reason is that I got to hang out with my friends more at this age. Another reason is I'm playing baseball again with my friends and my dad gets to watch the games this year. And my mom and dad get to hang out with me more at this age cause I like the same stuff they like. We are going to go to more cardinals game at this age.

Money

The Norwegians became rich by finding 800 billion dollars. The money is just paper so that is why. The pension fund is invested in money. Are country doesn't have a good find because we are in debt and we use way to much oil. That is why Norway got hat much money.

Water Slide

The waterslide is named vurruct. Vurruct is a water slide its actually the tallest water slide in the world. It is way different then the insano because it is taller. Jeff is called the ''Wizard of water '' because he is the one who created vurruct. I would like to go on this ride because it looks scary and I like doing scary things.

Small Turbine

A small turbine that is going to be used on our devices. They would reduce the size of the turbine so you can take it with you. The turbine would be very strong. They don't know how much power they would get . Chia built a prototype with his friend Smitha.
