Today's Meet

Today is 4/26/2012 and we have a track meet. I am really excited because I love track. Throwing shot put and discus is really fun even though I have to practice for disc. I think both disc and shot are both fun but if I had to pick my favorite it would be shot put. The track meet is at Windsor. For today's track meet coach picked the best three throwers Layne Reynolds, Reece Goddard, and Bear (me). Even when we done throwing its really fun because we hang out with friends on Tuesday it was really fun until Riley got up and spilled my cheese all over me but today she is buying me nachos so... we're good.

Earth Day

Yesterday was Earth Day. In Earth day you save as much energy as you can. You can save energy by turning off you lights, turning off the fossit, and buying a Pryus(an Eco-friendly car that uses electricity rather than gasoline). Last year on Earth Day me and my family turned off our power switches for an hour. Even dough it was dark for an hour we still had fun. I wrestled my brother in the dark then we messed around with our parents.

Discus and Shotput

I am a thrower in track. Which means that I throw discus and shot put. I don't know what coach thinks I'm better at but I personally think that I am better at shot put. I remember the first day of track I didn't know what to do since this is my very first year as a thrower. When I was younger I was a sprinter but then I started getting really big and tall so I could not run as fast. I've been practicing my shot put and discus throw and I'm getting better at it. My first disc throw was 73 ft. and for shot put it was 28.7ft. coach said I was a good thrower but I wasn't happy with myself so I started practicing after practice and now my shot put is 31.3ft. and my disc is in the upper 90's and lower 100's.

If looked the way I feel...

If I looked the way I feel... I would look like a stud. Most of the time I am in a good mood for no reason at all. Like on a Monday I look at everybody in 1st hour and they'd be SO tired and I am always laughing. I feel like a stud because all of my coaches say that I am an amazing student, that I get things very quick and I do them right. Today in lunch I stood from half-court and shot the basketball one-handed and swished it. I was like Oh my Gosh!! I was amazed.

Wrestling Boyeeee!!!!

Today during PAWS I went to the library for a meeting about wrestling. Even though I have never done this type of wrestling I am very much excited about this. A bunch of my friends are wrestling also so it is going to be even more fun. At the meeting we watched a video of two of Coach's students that he has been working with for the past five years. I cannot wait until (if ever) I get to their level I mean 16 State Championships?? Now that's a lot of tournaments won. Also I'm even MORE excited because next year I'm going to be in football,wrestling, weightlifting, and track so I'm going to be in shape the whole year. I am not stopping there though becasuse I'm also going to be working out.

Staying Fit

It is important to eat a good, healthy breakfast to start out the day because breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Another good way to stay healthy is exercising because it helps out your muscles, makes them bigger, and makes you stronger. Some other good things are that it makes you feel good, makes you healthy, and you look good; but get this just because you are fit, strong, and healthy does not mean that you should stop exercising because then you will loose all of it.
